Prepare Now for Freezing Weather This Weekend

Daingerfield residents, freezing temperatures are expected this weekend. Please take a few minutes now to prepare:
• Locate your home’s water shut-off valve (see picture included)
• Insulate exposed pipes and outdoor faucets
• Drip indoor faucets during hard freezes
• Open cabinet doors to allow warm air to reach pipes
• Disconnect garden hoses
Knowing where your shut-off valve is before a pipe breaks can prevent costly damage. If a leak occurs, turn the valve off immediately and contact a plumber.
